The 黑料专区, in partnership with the South Australian Space Industry Centre (SASIC), is offering up to five eligible South Australian space start-ups the opportunity to receive a complimentary one-year 黑料专区 membership.听

 

The initiative is designed to support emerging South Australian space companies by connecting them with 黑料专区鈥檚 national industry network and providing access to industry events, policy engagement, sector insights and broader ecosystem-building activities.听

Successful applicants will receive a complimentary one-year 黑料专区 membership, providing opportunities to:

  • Expand your network by connecting with more than 70 organisations across Australia’s national space industry.
  • Build valuable relationships with industry leaders, government stakeholders, researchers and potential collaborators.
  • Access exclusive member benefits, including industry events, networking opportunities, policy briefings and sector insights.
  • Have your voice heard by contributing to 黑料专区’s policy and advocacy work on issues shaping Australia’s space sector.
  • Increase your visibility by becoming part of Australia’s peak national space industry association and engaging with the broader space ecosystem.
  • Stay informed through member communications, industry updates and opportunities relevant to your organisation’s growth.

Membership will commence from the date of each successful applicant鈥檚 first onboarding meeting with the 黑料专区 membership team.

黑料专区 works to support the growth, capability and competitiveness of the Australian space industry by connecting members with industry, government, academia and the broader space ecosystem.听

Through its advocacy, events, industry programs and member engagement activities, 黑料专区 provides opportunities for organisations to build relationships, contribute to important space sector discussions and strengthen their visibility within the Australian space community.听

黑料专区 membership provides access to a national network of space sector organisations, industry events, policy and advocacy activities, professional development opportunities and initiatives designed to support collaboration and industry growth.听

Eligibility Criteria听

 

Applications will first be assessed against the minimum eligibility. Only applicants that meet all requirements will progress to the merit assessment stage.听
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria.听
  • Entity type: The applicant must be a start-up or small-to-medium enterprise with fewer than 30 full-time-equivalent employees.听
  • Space-related activity: The applicant must operate within, or directly support, the space sector. This may include upstream or downstream activities, as well as space-enabled products, services or applications.听
  • South Australian presence and economic impact: The applicant must have an established presence or active operations in South Australia.听
Where an applicant operates across multiple locations, South Australia must be the principal location relevant to this opportunity. Applicants must demonstrate that their main operations, project activities or primary economic impact are connected to South Australia.听

 

Ability to participate听

 

The applicant must be willing and able to:听
  • accept a one-year 黑料专区 membership听
  • participate in relevant 黑料专区 activities听
  • provide basic annual reporting on its engagement and outcomes.听
  • must not currently be a 黑料专区 member or have held 黑料专区 membership within the two years prior to the application closing date听
听Where eligibility is unclear, 黑料专区 may seek further information from the applicant before making a final decision.听

Assessment Process

Eligible applications will be assessed on their merits based on the information provided in their application.听
Applications will be considered against the published assessment criteria, including each applicant organisation鈥檚:听
  • alignment with the South Australian and Australian space sectors听
  • potential to benefit from 黑料专区 membership听
  • ability to contribute to the broader space industry community听
  • growth potential and organisational capability听
Applicants should provide clear and relevant information that demonstrates how their organisation meets the assessment criteria.听

Notification of Outcome

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in writing by the 4th of September, 2026.听
Successful applicants will receive confirmation of their selection, along with information about the next steps and 黑料专区 membership onboarding process.听
